Four
Mile Park
Just 4 miles from downtown Denver you can escape to a 12
acre park and relive the past. In the park you can see the Four Mile
House, which is an original home that was built in 1859 by the Brantner
brothers. It is the oldest standing structure in Denver.
This is not your average park, on a typical stroll around the 12
acres you can visit Percheron draft horses, goats and chickens.
If you aren't into the animals, take a look at the historic barns,
or walk through the beautiful gardens.
The park hosts special throughout the year including; Old-Fashioned
4th of July, Colorado Folks Art Festival, The Great Pumpkin Harvest
Festival, and A Colorado Christmas. Call for more information
