Colorado
Springs Area Museums
There
are several quality museums located around Colorado. The state was
the setting for the new frontier of America, has endured gold and
silver mining rushes, been a thoroughfare for the railroads, and
home to many Indian tribes. Much of this important history is still
alive in its original location now a museum. The Byers-Evans House
and Astor House Museums offer some of this rich history on the original
property.
Colorado museums also offer visitors a more contemporary look at
the world we live in. National Laboratories like the National Center
for Atmospheric Research are logging weather around the globe in
Boulder, Colorado .The ability to explore ancient lands, view dinosaur
skeletons, or even watch the amazing IMAX are available at the Natural
History Museum. To Continue please choose from the list below for
more information.
